Essential Trekking Information

During your pre-trip meeting in Kathmandu, we provide you with a complimentary duffel bag and baseball cap. The duffel bag is intended for packing your trekking essentials and will be carried by a porter throughout the trek. For every two trekkers, we assign one porter, and each duffel bag should not exceed 10 kg/22 lbs.

For your daily needs on the trail—such as cash, important documents, a water bottle or hydration bladder, camera, toiletries, sunscreen, a notebook, and extra clothing—it is crucial to have a personal daypack equipped with a waterproof cover.

You may leave any non-trekking luggage at the hotel in Kathmandu securely stored during your trek.

Given the cold conditions at altitudes above 4,000 meters, a down jacket with a hood is essential. We offer down jackets for rent at USD 35 each. Please be aware that in the event of loss or damage, you will be responsible for reimbursing USD 100 per item.

Similarly, you can rent a four-season sleeping bag for USD 35. In the event of loss or damage to the sleeping bag, a reimbursement of USD 100 per item will also be required.

Please note that while trekking, it's important to respect local customs regarding clothing. Tight-fitting, elastic materials such as yoga pants might be considered inappropriate by local standards. If you prefer such attire for comfort, it is advisable to wear something more conservative over them to avoid offending local sensibilities.

This information ensures that you are fully prepared and respectful of local customs while enjoying your trek in the most comfortable and responsible manner.
